HANDHELD

Mobile handheld readers

A range of point and click handheld readers, such as this TSL 1128 Bluetooth reader (without or without a smart device display option) are available to use with Digitail tags. They offer a long battery life and connect wireless to your systems using Bluetooth, to transfer the tag read into your lab system.

Mobile wearable readers

An alternative to handheld readers are readers that can be worn on your wrist or around your neck using a lanyard, such as this TSL 1153 Bluetooth enabled reader.

These also offer a long battery life and wireless connection to your lab systems via Bluetooth.

Digitail Injector is our patented technology designed to implant the Digitail Tag safely and consistently into the tail of the rodent.

Digitail Injector consists of a reusable handheld unit and single use disposable cartridge. Through a 21-gauge needle, the Digitail Tag is implanted quickly and relatively painlessly into the rodent’s tail.
